Board Game Night for Teens

Fostering Connection

Does your teen enjoy playing board games? The Board Game Night program is intended to be an opportunity for adolescents to form genuine connections with one another. Led by a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), the program aims to bring neurodiverse individuals together through their shared interests and enjoyment of board games.

The program will take place every Wednesday evening from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm starting July 13 through August 17, 2022. The cost of this program for the entire 6 week duration is $300 or evening drop-in rates are $50 per student. Availability for this group is limited.

Countdown to Kindergarten

Kindergarten Readiness Program

The Countdown to Kindergarten Program is designed to assist your child with their transition into school. Led by a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), the program aims to support the following:

Mental Skills Training for Tryouts

For your young atheletes

Tryouts are an important but pressure filled part of the season for all athletes. This increased pressure often causes athletes to have more distractions, trouble focusing, and feel increased negative emotions and tension which can prevent them from performing up to their full potential. This program is developed to help athletes learn how to manage this pressure and assist them to perform their best going into tryouts.

Goalie Skills Training

A multi-disciplinary approach to goalie training

This camp is an opportunity for goalies to challenge themselves and improve over the off-season through multiple dimensions of goaltending. Goalies will receive on ice sessions and coaching, NeuroMovement sessions with on-ice integration, Mental Skills Training and a summary report with continued learning recommendations for each athlete.

Mental Skills Training is the systematic development of psychological skills for the purpose of enhancing performance. These skills help athletes enhance their confidence, maintain and focus concentration, bounce back from failure, manage pressure, persist when facing adversity, manage and return from injuries, and increase motivation.

​

NeuroMovement®is a brain-based learning method that uses movement to connect with the nervous system. NeuroMovement® uses the essentials of neuroplasticity (the ability of the brain to rewire itself) to help develop and improve emotional regulation as well as cognitive and physical performance. This cutting-edge method based on new neuroscience research will help you reorganize your movement patterns and learn to move and think with intention on and off the ice.

Equine Assisted Learning

Self-Empowerment

This program is designed for youth ages 8-13 years, who are struggling with anxiety, stress, low self-esteem, or bullying.

This horse-based program focuses on teaching basic life skills such as identifying feelings, building trust, overcoming fear, and setting boundaries.

We are the only local, therapeutic, equine based program with registered OT, PT, SLP, and Psych associated and that consult throughout the program. Recommendations and direct referrals will also be part of this program as needs are identified.  Receipts will be provided from Hunt Psychological Services


10 sessions at 2 sessions per week after school and evening. 1.5 hours/session


Space for 16 kids, ages 8-13. Please contact us if you have a child outside of this age range to discuss different options. 


$90/session
