Kerstyn Braham

Practicum Student

Kerstyn, a Master’s of counselling psychology student, supports adults, youth and families through a compassionate, evidence-based and client-focused lens. 

Kerstyn holds a degree in psychology from the University of British Columbia. She is currently completing her practicum under the supervision of Christy Hunt in counselling psychology as a part of her graduate training. 

Kerstyn is a compassionate therapist with experience supporting adults and children with emotional overwhelm, depression, anxiety, substance use disorders, grief and difficult life transitions. Her approach is client-centred and collaborative, grounded in the belief that each person is the expert in their own life. Kerstyn strives to create a safe, respectful space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to explore meaningful change. Deeply passionate about client advocacy, she works to ensure that each individual’s voice is honoured and their needs are supported both within and beyond the therapeutic setting.
