Speech Language Pathologist

With nearly a decade of experience as a first responder in many capacities, working with people is something that is very important to Nancy. She completed a bachelor’s degree of Psychology – Addictions. She is currently working on the completion of a master’s degree in Marriage and Family. Her approach to counseling is an integrative and person-centered approach using a systemic lens. To Nancy, this means that counseling is not a one-size fits-all system, but instead that the client(s) have within them the ability to grow and shift using various tools and guidance through counseling. Nancy has received training in ACT, EFT (EFIT), mindfulness, Narrative and SFBT and uses those practices along with various other modalities in session with clients. As a counselor, she feels that it is important to be able to meet the client(s) where they are and to provide a space for the client(s) to safely walk through the complexities of life including; depression, anxiety, grief, resilience and stress-management, and living according to the client’s values. She is currently seeing individuals ages 10 and older, couples, and families.
