Master’s Student in Counselling Psychology
Reihaneh holds an Honours degree in Psychology from University of Regina and a Master’s degree in Neuroscience from McMaster University. She is currently completing her practicum under the supervision of Christy Hunt in Counselling Psychology as part of her graduate training.
Reihaneh has experience working with adults, families, and youth who are navigating emotional overwhelm, mood and anxiety concerns, trauma, relationship concerns, and major life transitions. Her approach is collaborative, culturally responsive, and grounded in evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment therapy, and trauma-informed care.
With professional experience in community and correctional settings, Reihaneh places strong emphasis on understanding each client’s unique story, cultural background, and value. She believes therapy should feel human, supportive, and practical. Her goal is to help clients build insight, develop effective coping strategies, and move toward meaningful and sustainable change at a pace that feels right for them.
